I once tried to remember the house we lived in in Seattle. I can’t remember much. I think once we saw that house again when I was older so I don’t know if my memory is from pictures, or when we were there, or when we saw it later, or maybe my memory isn’t even right. Anyway, I remember Joel playing cars on a low brick wall in a hallway or something.
And I remember playing make-believe in the living room. I’d pretend I was in a playground. The slide and swings and merry-go-round and teeter-totter and everything were so real to me.
I also remember listening to a record and pretending to direct a symphony. I think it might have been a record with "Seventy-Six Trombones in the Big Parade" on it. Or "Tubby the Tuba". I think in "Tubby the Tuba" a narrator introduces a bunch of instruments.
